Gary Shapiro, the CEO of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), underscores the importance of the human security campaign at the CES 2024 in Las Vegas, January, 2024.
“This initiative addresses fundamental human securities, such as food, clean air and water, healthcare, community political involvement, and now, access to technology. With over 130,000 attendees and 4,500 companies participating, many of which focus on innovations for these basic needs and sustainability, Shapiro highlighted the significance of the partnership with the Human Security For All campaign and the importance of discussing these critical human security issues at the event.
The Human Security For All (HS4A) is a global campaign led by the United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security and the World Academy of Art and Science in partnership with a broad constituent of entities and citizens like you. Our aim is to Promote human security among networks of people who play key roles in adopting new ideas and translating them into action – policymakers, youth leaders, private sector innovators and financiers as well as educators, scientists, artists and more.
